Sewage bills are generated and mailed on the 15th of each month.

The bill due the fifteen (15) day of the following month.

Bills not paid in full by the end of the business day on the bill due date will be charged a penalty (5% of the current monthly bill) plus interest charge of 0.83% (10% per annum).

Any checks that are returned for NSF (non-sufficient funds) will incur a $38.00 fee.

Any sewage accounts with an outstanding balance that meet the criteria for shut off will receive a 30-day notice prior to service being shut off.

Once a sewage account has received a 30-day notice, the entire outstanding account balance must be paid before the account is removed from termination status. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

If the account still has an outstanding balance at the end of the 30-day period will have their property posted for shut off. Once you have received a final notice, you have 14 days thereafter to pay your delinquent amount. If not paid, you will be shut off with no further correspondence from EBMA

Accounts not paid in full by the end of the 14 days noted above will be turned over to Pennsylvania American Water Company and scheduled for service termination. A $60.00 administration fee will be charged to these accounts to cover paperwork, service man, shutoff and turn on.

Once water service has been terminated, the entire outstanding account balance must be paid in full before the water service can be reinstated. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you or anyone presently and normally living in your home has a medical condition, aged, or a young child whose health and safety would be jeopardized by lack of water service, water service will not be stopped if the following conditions are met:

  1. Have your physician fax a written certification that such circumstances exist, to 412-384-3144.
  2. Contact Diversified Technology Corp. at (844) 324-5371 after the certification has been faxed.

Once the steps are completed, medical certificates will be reviewed and verified and you will be notified if you’ve been approved or denied service.
